Even though, PWD Act, 1995 of India has considered Mental illness as one of the Disabilities, less attention has been given by NGOs on this disability. Our Trust was inspired by the project of IIM Ahmedabad, financially sponsored  by Royal Netherlands Embassy - New Delhi and monitored by Blind People's Association implementing CBR program for Mentally ill persons right from July 2004.

In this project, the following services are offered in subdistrict of Kapadwanj

  • Door to door survey & identifying such cases.

  • Assessment Camp by Rendering Services from Psychiatrist.

  • Distribution of Free Medicines  to Mentally ill patients.

  • Counseling Services through well Trained personnel  appointed for this project.

  • Regular Follow-up Check-up and continuation of Medicines.
